Daniel Pérez Acevedo was born twenty-nine years ago in the picturesque village of Cenicero in La Rioja in Northern Spain, a region well renowned for its fine wines. But La Rioja is equally famed for its rich diversity of landscapes, flora & fauna. It is here that Daniel’s special affinity for wildlife began, instilled in him by his father, also a keen nature lover. Daniel discovered and explored photography as a means of expressing and sharing his intense passion for nature. His exploration brought him to Ireland which he has being visiting since 1994 after completing his photography studies. He fell in love with the landscapes and wildlife there which hold a special magnetism for him.

He now works between Spain, England and Ireland for a variety of wildlife, culture and travel publications.

In his work Daniel endeavours to capture nature at its most colourful moments, revealing its most intimate and magical characteristics from an artistic perceptive. His pursuit of photography reflects his strong desire to share these special moments in nature with anyone who appreciates it.
